Nation Chief's Snow Moon Campout Smoke Signals

Snow Moon Campout
01/13-14/2012

AHO Mighy Canaveral Nation!!!!

Well the Snow Moon Camp Out fell just short of dropping snow on the ground for us. The weather was right for some snow, so I guess we were fortunate Medicine Man did not order any up for us. At least the council fire provided some good heat once it got going.

Osage, Chippewa and Cherokee hosted some entertaining War Games while Chief once again showed his lack of running prowess during the Creek Long Run. Much good food was consumed by Nation Chief and Little Chief both Friday night and Saturday night, making the decisions on who takes the Golden Skillet and Golden Wing basket another difficult task. At the end of the campout the following tribes were deservingly awarded the following Nation Coup:

Golden Skillet Award

Cherokee

Golden Wing Basket

 Miami

Nation Spear Coup

 Chippewa

Most Improved

Cherokee

Tomahawk

Miami

Mini Peace Pipe

Creek

Mini War Coup

Chippewa

Nation Peace Pipe

Cherokee

Nation War Coup

Osage

The next camp out will be the Pinewood Derby Camp out, which will be held on February 17-19h, 2012. Have you Little Braves cars ready and if you are doing a Big Brave entry, just remember nothing that will damage the track!!

Additional State Camp out (March 8 - 11 , 2012 Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park) details still to come. Please continue to check the website http://www.statewidepowwow2012.info/) regularly for registration information.

AHO!

Grey Wolf, Nation Chief
